At Create 52, film is our driver. We use film, media, and storytelling to engage young people in meaningful conversations about the issues shaping their lives today.

Our work creates space for young people to explore themes such as identity, mental health, peer pressure, online influence, belonging, and the pressures that come with growing up in a fast-moving digital world. Using film as a starting point, we help young people critically engage with the media they consume every day, reflect on their own experiences, and find the confidence to express what matters to them.

Through workshops, projects, and creative programmes, young people don’t just talk about important issues — they turn their ideas, perspectives, and lived experiences into powerful stories of their own. In the process, they build confidence, develop practical creative skills, strengthen communication, and learn how to think critically about the world around them.

Create 52 is rooted in youth work practice and shaped by years of experience working with young people in schools, communities, and education settings across the UK. We believe every young person has a story worth telling, and that film can open doors to conversations, connection, and change.
